Warm your Valentine’s Heart
Valentine’s Day is about love and romance … and food! That’s why the club is preparing a special sweethearts’ menu on Feb. 10, 11, 12 and 14. The meal starts with either fried oysters or Belgian endive or seared tuna. Entrée choices include roasted Cornish game hen with wild rice and cranberry-almond-Cognac sauce, a 14-ounce ribeye basted in garlic-tomato butter and sautéed shrimp and scallops served in a puff pastry nest. Hot off the Grill: Build your own Burger Buffet
Members are invited to come to the club on Feb. 22 for a “Build your own Burger Buffet.” Create a bacon-chili burger and then top it with cheese sauce. Or, make it a Mexi-burger with salsa, jalapenos, guacamole and sautéed onions. With more than 25 toppings, there are plenty of possibilities.
